After 19 years in Las Vegas, I’ve learned that fall here doesn’t arrive the way it does back East. No crisp air, no crunchy leaves underfoot — instead, our desert version of autumn means cooling off from triple-digit temps and settling into the (slightly) more comfortable 90s. Not exactly sweater weather, but it does mean it’s time to find those little cozy comforts that make us feel like fall has arrived.

For me? That usually means a Sunday morning run to Trader Joe’s in Downtown Summerlin (Maisie sometimes comes along for the ride). While I’ll pass on the classic pumpkin spice latte — I’m just not a PSL person — I never skip Trader Joe’s fall lineup.
