The holidays hit differently in Las Vegas. While the rest of the country is bundling up, we’re stepping out into crisp, sunny 60-degree days, twinkling lights, and a city that knows exactly how to put on a show. And this year’s lineup of festive pop-ups, hot-chocolate-with-a-twist cocktails, and seasonal experiences is one of the best yet.
So, if you're thinking of heading out for a little holiday magic — or you’re hosting friends in town — here are a few standout spots from Eater’s latest guide to the season.
Sippin’ Santa on Main — Holiday Cheer with a Tropical Twist

If your idea of holiday spirit comes with a side of tiki, this one’s a must.
Sippin’ Santa has returned to the Sand Dollar Downtown, transforming the space into a rum-soaked, neon-bright holiday escape — complete with collectible mugs, over-the-top décor, and cocktails like the Chouito or the Yule Tide.
It runs through December 31, and if you go, order something fun, keep the mug, and take way too many photos. This is one of those Vegas-only holiday moments.

Ice Skating at Fontainebleau — Holiday Glam Meets Vegas Energy

This one is high on my personal list.
Fontainebleau rolled out a gorgeous new ice rink this year — a winter scene layered with that signature Fontainebleau gloss. Think sparkling lights, chic lounge vibes, and a little après-skate energy. I’m hoping to make it down there soon to see it in person.
If you’re looking for a holiday date night, girls’ outing, or something festive after dinner, this is the move.
More Festive Pop-Ups Around the Valley
Vegas goes big for the holidays — and the bars absolutely understand the assignment. From hot-drink chalets to cozy cocktail dens, the pop-up scene is thriving right now.
