By the time you’re reading this, there’s a good chance I’m sitting at Peter Luger — one of my personal favorites — grabbing a burger or a steak before heading to see Jerry Seinfeld at The Colosseum.
But thanks to Eater’s August update, there’s a whole new list of burger spots to add to your must-try rotation, whether you’re a local or just visiting.
Eater’s editors pulled together the ultimate list of the best burgers in Las Vegas, covering everything from high-end steakhouses to hidden dive-bar gems. I’ve been to a few of these already (no surprise there), but I even found some new spots worth bookmarking.
Here are a few highlights:
- With Love, Always (Centennial Hills)
Their S.O.B. burger — smashed patties, American cheese, pickles, and optional bacon + jalapeños — is already Instagram-famous. Expect lines, but it’s worth the wait. - Yukon Pizza (Downtown)
Sure, they’re known for pizza, but their double-patty smash burger with caramelized onions and house-made pickles has a cult following. Pair it with their buffalo cauliflower — trust me. - Holsteins Shakes and Buns (Arts District)
Back after a 15-year Cosmopolitan run, Holsteins’ Forager Burger is layered with creamy steak sauce, a fried egg, Swiss cheese, and marmalade onions. Bonus: don’t skip their boozy Bam-Boozled milkshakes. - Diner Ross (on the Strip)
Go for the au poivre-style short rib burger — black pepper crust, roasted tart cherries, melty Muenster cheese, and a gravy dip on the side. It’s rich, bold, and unforgettable. - Rollin Smoke Barbeque (just off-Strip)
The Outlaw Burger stacks brisket, onion strings, cheddar, chipotle aioli, and red cabbage slaw. Warning: it’s a two-napkin minimum. - Peter Luger Steak House (Strip)
Available only Wednesday–Sunday, 11:30 AM–4 PM — their dry-aged short loin blend burger is simple, rich, and worth every bite. Add cheese and Luger’s bacon if you want to go all in.
