8370 Plum Creek: A Great Story Deserves a Storybook Ending

This is one of those stories.
It All Started With a Video
Late last year, I decided to film a video about a listing in Spanish Trail. I knew the quiet cul-de-sac of Plum Creek would make the perfect backdrop, so my videographer and I set up shop and got to work.
While filming, one of the neighbors wandered out and struck up a conversation. He shared how much he absolutely loved living in Plum Creek — the privacy, the charm, the community vibe. We exchanged information, stayed in touch, and I walked away that day thinking, “What a great little pocket of Spanish Trail.”
Fast Forward to Summer
Months later, I got an email from that same neighbor. He and his wife had decided it was time to make a move and asked me to represent them in selling their absolutely gorgeous townhome at 8370 Plum Creek.
I was thrilled — this wasn’t just another listing. It felt personal.
Enter the Buyers
Just as we were preparing to list, I got an email from a dynamic couple relocating from Los Angeles. We booked a Zoom call a few days later to get to know each other and talk through their goals.
After a few pleasantries, I stopped and said, “Listen… I know this sounds crazy, but I think I have your house.”
They laughed, intrigued but skeptical.
The next day, I FaceTimed them from Plum Creek. As I walked them through the home, something just clicked. They immediately booked a trip to Las Vegas that weekend — before the listing even hit the market.
Meant to Be
That weekend, they toured a few homes… but 8370 Plum Creek kept calling them back. It was exactly what they were looking for. They made the decision to call it theirs.
Before we could even officially go live, the home was under contract — and just like that, Plum Creek had a new story to tell.
Why This Sale Matters
For me, this isn’t just about another “just sold” sign. It’s about how relationships, storytelling, and video strategy come together to create magic in real estate.
If I hadn’t been filming that day, I might never have met the sellers.
Without video, I couldn’t have brought the buyers into the home before they ever set foot in Las Vegas.
Without trust, they wouldn’t have booked a flight on a hunch.
It’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do — and why real estate is so much more than transactions.
