If you’re like me, Thanksgiving is less about the turkey and more about the lounging. Give me a cozy couch, football on TV, a plate that refills itself, and I’m perfectly content to call that gratitude.

Every year, I tell myself maybe this is the year I’ll cook — and every year, I remember that we live in Las Vegas, where the pros do it better (and with no cleanup required). Lucky for us, the Eater Vegas team just dropped their list of the best Thanksgiving dinners in town, and I couldn’t be happier to see the place I booked this year made the cut.

From Barry’s Downtown Prime serving classic turkey and prime rib feasts to Ciao Vino in Boca Park, where pumpkin tart meets vanilla ice cream, to Mon Ami Gabi offering a four-course French twist right on the Strip — this city knows how to do indulgence. Whether you want Martha Stewart elegance at The Bedford or Bavarian comfort at Hofbräuhaus, Vegas has you covered.

As for me? I’ll be embracing what I consider one of the most perfect holidays ever invented — a day dedicated entirely to eating, watching football, and unapologetic relaxation. I’ll be cheering for my favorite team (and, yes, rooting against the Cowboys — sorry, not sorry) and binging Season Five of Stranger Things.

So if you’re team “leave the cooking to the experts,” consider this your permission slip. Vegas has your Thanksgiving handled — you just need to show up hungry.
