Well… you may have known this already, but if you’re moving to Las Vegas to meet your soulmate — you might want to pack a backup plan.
According to a brand-new report from Zumper, three Nevada cities ranked among America’s worst for singles. Yep — all three. Henderson came in dead last (100 out of 100), while Las Vegas and North Las Vegas didn’t fare much better, landing near the bottom of the list.
The study looked at things like affordability, nightlife, entertainment, and — most importantly — how many people are actually single in each city. Apparently, Henderson is so family-friendly it scored as the least single-friendly city in the entire country.
So, if you’re looking for date night vibes, you might have better luck finding a stroller than a soulmate.
And as for Las Vegas — the city that never sleeps? Turns out, it’s great for bottle service and bachelorette parties, but maybe not so great for long-term love. The same report says Vegas ranked low for actual single residents and affordability, two things that make dating here a little… complicated.
And North Las Vegas? Let’s just say the social scene is still finding its groove.
But before you start swiping left on the entire state, let’s keep some perspective.
These studies don’t measure things like chemistry, timing, or the sheer magic of meeting someone in line at Urth Café in the Uncommons or during Sunday yoga at Tivoli Village. (It does happen — I’ve seen it.)
And if there’s one thing we do know about Vegas, it’s that this city has a funny way of surprising you....
So no — Vegas might not statistically be the easiest place to find your person, but it’s still a great place to build a life worth sharing. Because while the rest of the country might be ranking us, we’re out here enjoying the sunsets, the food scene, and the fact that winter lasts about two weeks.
And hey — I still have high hopes for you.
But let’s start by picking the property that speaks to your soul.
